I wrote this several years ago when a citizen of the USofA was being tortured until starvation, by the same people who are now saying the USofA should never use waterboarding to extract information from our sworn enemies when captured.

This is my last forum topic about the ordeal in Florida, which has been on a lot of peoples mind for nine days now. I make no apologies for being pro-life, none whatsoever. I am tired, not as tired as John our webmaster, but I haven’t gotten much sleep lately. I know I have been cranky at times, but I am no young kid with unlimited energy. There is also no way I can be confident that I have the whole truth about this saga of tears. One thing though is so troublesome; it makes me want to come to an understanding about it. I will share it then let it run it’s course. Let’s look at it calmly, I promise to behave. Well I will try very very hard.

Why Starvation?

Why didn’t the husband ask for a lethal injection? That would be fast, painless and dignified.

I don’t care how you spin it, starvation is cruel and unusual punishment. We know Terri felt pain. So what are we as a people doing starving people to death? We don’t starve terminally ill animals. No, not even laboratory rats are treated that cruelly. I get passionate about the downtrodden, and abused of this world. I wish this never had happened, but it did. So why starvation?

According to the International Criminal Court, starvation as a means of killing is a war crime. The Court noted: "Intentionally using starvation of civilians as a method of warfare by depriving them of objects indispensable to their survival, including willfully impeding relief supplies as provided for under the Geneva Conventions' is a serious violation of the laws and customs of war [52]."

* The liberal human rights organization Amnesty International has long cited starvation as inhumane. For example, in the aftermath of the Vietnam War, the group claimed that "scores of civilian deaths, predominantly among children, from starvation and injuries [were] sustained during the conflict."

Amnesty International stated at the time that it "condemns in the strongest terms the use of starvation as a weapon of war against civilians as a clear and serious violation of Geneva Conventions that Laos has ratified."

* Amnesty International also blasted North Korea after the U.N. reported that some 2 million North Koreans have died from starvation, adding that in total, 50 percent of the population doesn't have enough to eat.

* Work And Progress, a liberal Web site, was critical of U.S. involvement in Afghanistan in 2001, and even claimed the U.S. military action there had caused up to 7.5 million Afghans to be threatened with starvation. The site went on to note: "Starvation is, quite literally, torturous. And the equation will seem just about right to many people: the atrocity that the U.S. government is willing to subject a handful of people to on U.S. soil, it is willing to subject millions to in some far off land."

* In 2001, Rep. Eliot Engel, D-N.Y., a member of the Congressional Human Rights Caucus, offered up House Resolution 102, backed by three other lawmakers, noting that during World War II, many of the 18,745 American soldiers captured during the war "were subjected to barbaric prison conditions and endured torture, starvation, and disease" by the Axis powers, Germany, Italy and Japan. The treatment of American POWs "violated international human rights principles," said the resolution.

* In a report by the U.N. High Commissioner for Human Rights, regarding the "Definition of the Right to Food," the commission recommended "the right to food and nutrition was a human right." The commission also advocated "the right to food in emergency situations" should "be taken into account," to "include the obligation of states to grant access to impartial humanitarian organizations to provide food aid and other humanitarian assistance."

The New York Times may well be remembered as the newspaper that was most outraged over photos of Iraqi terrorist suspects being mistreated by U.S. soldiers at Abu Ghraib prison – but claimed that starvation was a benevolent way to die.

Of course, if the Times is right – and starvation causes "little discomfort" – the paper may have uncovered a valuable new tool in the war on terror.

One wonders how the Old Gray Lady would react if U.S. interrogators began to starve terrorist suspects in a bid to extract information?

How ridiculous to suggest that just because 20,000,000 people broke a law to get to the USofA, and continue breaking any law they don’t like on a daily basis, how dare you suggest these same people could be the ones who broke the good sanitation laws and spread the deadly E coli bacteria in the USofA.

Maybe because of the rich Republicans, they can’t afford soap, or don’t know how to use soap, hot water or toilet paper?

We brought this upon ourself. We want cheap bagged spinach, so we open the borders, look the other way while the hordes of filth invade our land, yes we invite anyone in who will pick spinach for slave wages. Who needs a health screening? Who needs to learn the language and learn hygiene as the USofA practices it?

Don’t worry, only a few thousand of the illegal aliens have tuberculosis, and some of the illegals do know how to wash their hands, not many, but some. They pick and pack almost all of our fresh fruits and vegetables, cook most of the meals we eat in restaurants, wash the dishes we eat on, clean our hospitals, and not many of them know how to, or care to, wash their hands in accordance to good hygiene practices. Sorry, the truth is the truth, I have written about this before. Call me what you want, but it is the truth.
To a poor person in Mexico, hygiene is not important, because they are immune to most bacteria that would kill the average American.
I see illegals working, observe them on a daily basis, coming into the lunchroom from a filthy work environment, and walking past a hand washing station as they get their lunch out of the fridge, sit down and proceed to eat lunch with unwashed hands. They would sit down to eat at the lunchroom table if there was a lumpfish on one corner of the table, cleanliness is not important. They are healthy, but the germs they spread are dangerous to those who have lived in a clean environment.
But you like your cheap spinach….go ahead enjoy. Me, I love hot water and soap. I have a novel idea, let’s send all of them back home, hire our own people at good wages to do those jobs, and eat smaller portions. Yes, eat smaller portions. Our gluttonous ways will be the death of us. We love to eat, eat and eat some more. That is why we need cheap slave laborers to pick the spinach, we eat too much. Smaller portions, and send them back to live the way they like, dirty.

I have noticed that second and third generation Mexicans who come to America, are catching on to good hygiene practices and I’ll eat at their table any day of the week.

But the young men and women flooding into our nation from Mexico illegally, could care less about your health or welfare. And they won’t get sick eating the fecal tainted spinach.

Enjoy your large chef’s salad, the chef is an illegal also.

My God has told me to love everyone, I am not a Hitlerite wanting to cleanse the earth....I am only wishing some of the illegals would wash their hands once in awhile, or at least before picking, cooking or serving my food.

This problem can be solved, remember....smaller portions.

God made the most beautiful musical instrument….when HE designed and created the vocal chords of the human. That is why there are no organs, guitars, electric guitars, pianos, accordions, harmonicas, hambones or violin sections at the church of Christ where I worship the creator each and every Lord’s day. YET, I love music, musical instruments, musicians and everyone who loves music. So enjoy…..one of the greatest vocal chords upon this sick and silent planet….sick, because we have turned our back on the creator of all of this, and silent….because when God sends His only begotten son Jesus, back to earth….there will be a choir…..not a rock band or rap singer….a band of angels singing praise to the creator…………..but what will you have to say…..you like me will be silent……I guarantee that…..because it has already happened in eternity.

Homeland Security Secretary Michael Chertoff suggested opponents would prefer illegal immigrants be killed; Commerce Secretary Carlos Gutierrez said those who oppose the bill want "mass deportation." Former Bush speechwriter Michael Gerson said those who oppose the bill are "anti-immigrant" and suggested they suffer from "rage" and "national chauvinism."

Oh, by the way "national chauvinism" is a favorite slander used by the socialists and communists.

DON 'T BITCH ABOUT GOOGLE

AND, I mean every word of that title. You wussified compassionates complain about everything you don't understand. It really gets to me. Have you no braincells left rattling around your brain? It galls me to read the blog articles about the evil of google. Without letting out any secret of the future, I must still say this.

GET A LIFE, IF YOU ARE FOCUSING ON WHAT CNN OR GOOGLE IS BROADCASTING......HEY...HEY...HEY...EXCUSE ME, excuse me, but, didn't you have the same opportunity to excel in America? My Choice for President 2008

I am not going to disclose who I have decided to support in the 2008 election, but you can probably guess which campaign I just sent a donation to.
Here was the deciding question I asked myself.
Who would I want to be the next first lady? Or first gentleman?
Who would replace Laura Bush, who I seem to have more respect for lately than her husband.
I think about who would sleep in the nations White House with any of the (what is it?} 20 declared candidates for the presidency? Hillary? Romney? McCain? Giuliani? Obama? Biden?
You know the list, think about it? The Citizens White House has had some diverse first ladies?
Some were stark raving nutso, some conniving bitches, some lovely ladies. More good than bad in my opinion.....we have a peach of a first lady now.....WHO'S NEXT? And who would you want to be the next first lady or gentleman?

A Good Way to Drive Yourself Crazy.

I love to do internet searches and sometimes think of a subject, then google the subject just to learn as much as I can on the subject. It is a wonderful way to learn; but sometimes it can almost drive you bonkers.

If I should go stark raving bananas, google wouldn’t be responsible would they? Google is only a search engine, right? Well they are that and much more, but I don’t want to talk about the danger of a few people with an agenda of completely controlling the flow of the worlds information. For now, I feel quite comfortable with Google knowing almost everything about me, from my blog, my email and my internet searches. These three cyber activities all help Google to get a pretty good picture of me.

From a list of my internet visits from a Google search results page, it would be quite easy to figure out my political views, my religious views, my level of education and literacy.

I am going to study this Google phenomenon a little more in the future. It has profound implications of complications. WOW (did I really say that?)

I am a happy user of most of Goggles internet tools.

You haven’t really surfed the internet until you have taken that visual trip from cyber space right down to the street on which you live, and see your house or apartment building pictured right below you. Amazingly amazing, that is Google Earth.

Sanity’s Bluff is hosted for free on the web by Google, and for that I am loyal to Google when it comes to searching. I google some personally interesting subject almost every day, and I suspect millions do the same thing.

Google benefits from all of the services of theirs that I use. It seems like Google Inc. wants to know everything about everything and everybody, and I have no problem with that. I give it up freely for the rewards I get from searching, the free hosting of my blog, and free email and more.

But as was said earlier, googling can drive you crazy. Take this happening into consideration my friends.

While webloafing this morning, I came across a comment about boycotting Starbucks Coffee. Now that got my attention: I had to know why Starbucks should be boycotted.

My household goes through one pound of Starbucks coffee beans a week. Whoops, I forgot; a pound bag of coffee now has only 11 or 12 ounces in it. Anyway we use a bag of Starbucks a week. No good truck driver would dare face the road coffeeless.

So about this Starbucks Coffee Boycott, and the search on Google. This is one of those searches that you don’t want to go on…….I’ve done the groundwork, trust me on this one; IT WASN'T PRETTY.

On the first page of searching for Starbucks boycott, I learned that some Christians want everyone to boycott Starbucks because they sponsor gay pride activities in many cities in many lands.

I also learned that many Arabs and Muslims are calling for a boycott because the Starbucks C.E.O. is a Zionist. (Almost 64% of the world's population is Zionist, believing that the few surviving Jews, deserve the homeland that God gave them 4,000 years ago)

I learned that the company opened up 6 coffee shops in Israel only to close them down a year later because Muslims were calling for a worldwide ban of Starbucks.

I learned that more people called for a boycott because Starbucks abandoned Israel.

I learned that a lot of Christian conservatives are calling for a boycott of Starbucks because of a series of Hollywood and Media quotes from well know people. The neocons are complaining that only liberal writers are given space on the paper coffee cups, in a series called “The way I see it”

Can you say anal retentive?

Seriously, I am not going to join THE STARBUCK'S BOYCOTT! And I really can't tell you why, I am confused mentally about why I am not joining the boycott. Maybe I am thinking about joining on paper only; but will slip off secretly for a latte, and make secretive runs to the all night grocery store nearby at 4 am, when there are less people that can see me buy the 11 ounce pound of those magic beans.

And it makes me wonder, How could a Gay Arab Christian get a good cup of joe in Haifa?

Jail toilets face Mecca...ah...So?

Facilities in a prison are being built so Muslim inmates do not have to face Mecca while sitting on the toilet.
The Home Office said two new toilet blocks are being installed as part of a refurbishment at Brixton jail in south London.
Faith leaders had told prison bosses it was unacceptable for Muslim inmates to face Mecca while using the toilet.
"The refurbishment has been carried out with due consideration for all faiths", a Home Office spokeswoman said.
"Following consultation with faith leaders within the prison, various small adjustments were made to ensure the faith issues of all prisoners are taken into account."
She added: "The money spent did not affect the overall cost of the refurbishment programme."

Such ignorance and waste of the publics taxmoney.....why even an uneducated truck driver from across the pond, could have saved the British a ton of money, with his new invention....the self meccanizing toilet.
